It’s Not Over

Radical faith will be required to move past every obstacle

The obstacles that have come into play in the first quarter of this year will not determine how it will end.  What has happened, you say?  Well for the first time in my rental history I had to borrow money to pay rent In January, February, and possibly again in March.  But I am not worried. Why? It's not over.

In the game of basketball there are four quarters to play and anticipate a favorable outcome. The score might be embarrassing and low in the first quarter but as long as the players huddle up and put the right strategies in place, by the fourth quarter they can increase the score and win the game.

I have three quarters left in this year to improve the flow of my financial life.  What’s needed, you say?  I need to put an actionable plan in place to overcome distractions, lack, defeat, and frivolous spending habits. Radical faith will be required to move past every obstacle and allow God to shift and turn everything into victory. And I will succeed. Why? It’s not over.

Perhaps this year has not started the way that you have anticipated. And you feel discouraged, hopeless, and maybe even afraid. Ask God to give you a faith plan to steward over. Allow yourself to move into the process with grace for mistakes, and confidence in God that the flow of your life will be upgraded.

What does that look like? I’m glad that you asked. Whatever you are planning, keep God at the center. Think positive thoughts. Set up connections with others for accountability. Prioritize your time by setting goals. Manage your diet, sleep, and exercise well. And most importantly, live in the moment. Why? It's Not Over.

Key Points

  1. Keep God at the Center

  2. Let Radical Faith Push You Forward

  3. Anticipate a Favorable Outcome

Weekly Scripture

"The latter glory of the house will be greater than the former; says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I shall give peace and prosperity; declares the Lord of hosts."

Haggai 2:9
