Insecurities & Makeup

After going through seasons of life feeling so insecure about some personal flaws, I've realized that no one was going to poof me into confidence. No one was all of a sudden going to make me feel beautiful and worthy. I decided I would make myself feel beautiful. I would do things that make me feel inwardly and outwardly beautiful.

After living with missing teeth for years and feeling like my purpose would have to delay, God quickly showed me that purposes are tested not for us to quit, but to reveal that when God is in it, nothing can stop it, not even us.

I decided years ago, even with missing teeth, I had to feel confident and bold. I decided even with all my insecurities staring me in the face daily, I had to not allow it to hold me back.

Wearing makeup, dressing up and feeling beautiful definitely has helped me the last 5 years, live confidently even with my insecurities.

I want to share with you my go to makeup routine in hopes that you can get find little ways to fall more in love with the Creation God made, makeup or not, we all can be a bit more nicer and loving towards ourselves.

My go to Makeup Routine!

I am very light with the makeup, but here are my go to items especially when I'm experiencing hormonal acne.

First, I add my primer I currently use ELF+ MATTE BLOTTING MIST

2nd, I add my first foundation L'Oreal ParisL'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation and the PRICE $8.47.

3rd, I love to add my second foundation to better match my skin tone Revlon PhotoReady Candid Glow Moisture Glow Anti-Pollution Foundation

4th, I Fill in my eyebrows with LOCK ON LINER AND BROW CREAM

when my eyebrows desperately need it. The PRICE is $4.00.

5th, I love to add a good lip liner the SUEDE MATTE LIP LINER

that is only $4.00.

6th, I like to occasionally add Top eye-liner for some flair. I use the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Eyeliner, Black

for $8.97.

7th, I Add my Favorite Mascara from Wal-Mart the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Washable Bold Eye Mascara, Black, that is $8.00
