For the past 4 years I’ve been waiting. From social media and ministry you wouldn’t think it, because I kept working. However, many of us have been waiting wrong. Waiting means to stand in readiness for some purpose. Waiting doesn’t mean we are not working. Waiting doesn't mean we are standing still. Waiting doesn’t mean we lack responsibility for our lives.
I’ve been waiting to go to seminary for the past 4 years. But I never stopped building my ministry. In the 4 years of waiting I built a ministry with over twenty thousand people and many products, resources, and recurring revenue to keep the ministry flowing. The waiting was one of the biggest blessings for me. It allowed me to build and grow and when the door finally opened for seminary, I’m more than ready.
I want you to see good in your waiting season. Can you see good in the delay?
Can you see good in the heartbreak? Can you see good in the divorce? Can you see good in the trauma? I ask you this because God doesn't want you to suffer in the waiting. He desires you to grow through the waiting. He wants you to learn through the waiting. Conquer through the waiting. Forgive through the waiting and learn through the waiting.
God is wanting us to realize that the waiting is only a setup for a better future.
I could've got into seminary four years ago when I had only my mother and myself on my ministries email list. I could've got in when it was just my mama watching my YouTube videos. However, God had something else planned.
Today I am so thankful for the waiting. Even in the waiting I saw Gods Goodness, I hope that you see it also!
