How to Walk Boldly in Your Faith!

In the beginning seasons of my walk with the Lord, I thought bold faith looked like hosting Bible studies on campus. In another season, I believed bold faith was standing behind a pulpit once a month. Then there was a time I thought it meant becoming a kids’ Sunday school teacher.

And while all of these are beautiful steps of faith, I’ve learned something deeper—many of the boldest steps of faith we’ll ever take happen outside the four walls of the church.

When you receive a bad report, your next decision requires faith.

When someone triggers you, how you choose to respond requires faith.

When you step into a new idea or pursue a degree, it requires faith.

When you walk away from unhealthy relationships, that requires faith.

Faith isn’t just something we display in spiritual settings—it’s active and present in our everyday lives.

Some days require bolder steps than others. And I want to encourage you to lean into those harder moments. When your account is negative, and you don’t know how you’ll make your car payment—trust me, I’ve been there. I’ve had to learn how to keep showing up in faith, even when things didn’t make sense. I’ve watched others be blessed and wondered, “When is it my turn?”

In those moments, I had to make a choice—to practice my faith, not become bitter, but allow God to make me better.

I don’t know where bold faith is being required in your life today, but I pray you lean into the very things that scare you. I pray you stand up in faith before you have all the answers. And I pray you stop walking through life afraid.

Faith is meant to be practiced, lived out, and applied daily.

So challenge yourself—every single day—to step out in faith.

Weekly Scripture

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1
