God Moves Through Imperfection!

ree

Have you ever felt like you couldn’t start something until everything was just right? Same here. For the longest time, I delayed launching my YouTube® channel because I was waiting for the perfect moment. But here’s the truth I’ve learned: perfection is a trap—and waiting for it only holds you back.

Whether it's the perfect relationship, perfect timing, or perfect skillset, the more you wait, the more you delay growth. And even more importantly, you limit the space for God to move through you.

In the business world, there's a saying: “Progress beats perfection every time.” That means taking consistent steps forward is far more powerful than standing still trying to get everything just right.

In the world of social media, you’ll often hear: “Done is better than perfect.” Post the video—even if it’s not studio-quality. Share the photo—even if you don’t look flawless. Record the podcast—even if your mic isn’t top-tier. People don’t connect with perfection—they connect with authenticity.

And in the faith world, Scripture reminds us: “God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.” That means God isn’t waiting for you to be perfect. He simply asks that you be willing. When you take a step, He meets you there. That first move might feel small or shaky, but it’s in the movement that growth begins.

If I had waited until I was a flawless speaker, I’d never have stepped on a stage. If I had waited until I was “perfect,” I would have missed the chance to start this ministry. Perfection was never the requirement—obedience and faith were.

This isn’t just spiritual advice—it’s incredibly practical. Take your big dreams and break them into small, doable steps. Don’t be overwhelmed by your yearly goals—ask yourself, what can I do today?

Remember, God often moves through imperfections.

Moses stuttered.

David sinned.

Peter denied.

Thomas doubted. Yet God still used them—powerfully. So give yourself permission to be human: to try, to mess up, to grow, and even to enjoy the journey.

Stop waiting. Today is a gift—and it’s too valuable to waste on perfectionism. Truthfully, procrastination often hides behind the mask of “waiting until it’s perfect.” But the longer you wait, the more you withhold the gifts God wants to share through you.

God flows through your imperfections.

Before you go, take a moment to reflect: What have you been putting off until it’s “perfect”?

Write about it. Pray on it. And most importantly—start.

Weekly Scripture

Daughter, your faith has made you whole, go in peace and be healed of your afflictions.”

Mark 5:34

I wanted expert input, not shortcuts. A dissertation writing service gave my draft the polish it needed to stand out.
