Don't Give Up in the Hallway!

Today I’m coming with some big sis advice… the kind I actually need myself.
Don’t give up in the hallway.
Honestly, this is something I’ve heard in my spirit over and over again. In the early stages of building my ministry, I needed this reminder deeply. When I was attempting to complete a college degree I once failed at, these words rang true. And even now, they still whisper to me in moments of stress and overwhelm.
On the days I feel the most lost… the most unsure of what’s next…In the moments I feel like throwing in the towel, stopping the content, choosing the easier route…
Right in the middle of all those thoughts, I hear it again: Don’t give up in the hallway.
And something in me rises.
It reminds me that life will happen. There will be bad reports, hurtful words, pain—and more pain. But I must not stop in the hallway.
Because the thing about hallways is this: they can feel lonely. They can feel dark. Sometimes they even feel endless, like you’ll be stuck there forever.
But the hallway is not your final destination. It’s the passageway between where you were and where you’re going.
The hallway is not a stopping ground—it’s a transition point.
The hallway isn’t meant to break you, but to make you.
The hallway isn’t meant to leave you, but to lead you.
The hallway isn’t meant to hurt you, but to teach you.
The hallway is the testing ground of our faith in Jesus. And the truth is—it’s necessary.
So the next time you find yourself in an uncertain season…a confusing season…a broken season…or even a delayed season…
Remember this:
The hallway is where transformation happens.
The hallway is where you find your peace.
The hallway is where your faith is strengthened.
The hallway is where you discover the Jesus who lives within you.
So don’t stop in the hallway, sis.
Keep going.
