A New Era of Fearlessness | Faithfully Fearless

Since 2016, I’ve been learning what fearlessness really means. The Bible says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear,” but let’s be real—that can feel hard to believe when you’re months behind on rent and drowning in bills. When life looks nothing like you imagined and your dreams feel like they’re slipping away, like a car disappearing down a dusty road—all that’s left is the dust.
I can’t talk about fearlessness without being honest: I’ve faced some of my deepest fears. I’ve had moments where I was lying on the floor in tears, with nothing left but Jesus. I’ve had days with a negative bank account, a heavy heart full of doubt, and the loud question, “Why me?” Fearlessness isn’t a shiny concept for me—it’s something I’ve had to live through, wrestle with, and come out stronger on the other side.

There was a season when I had to step back and take a job. Another when I packed up my life in the city I loved and moved back to the small, rural town I once left behind. I’ve endured low after low—but what I’ve learned is this: it takes serious courage to fall and still rise swinging.
That verse—“God did not give us a spirit of fear”—doesn’t mean fear won’t exist. It means fear doesn’t own you. Fear is often a sign that you’re stepping out of old limits. It’s not always the enemy—it can be a signal. You can feel fear and still go forward. You can be afraid… and still do it anyway.
One quote that’s stayed with me is from Pastor Derek Prince: “If you don’t go forward in faith, you won’t go forward.”That truth changed me. Because if you’re waiting to feel completely confident before you move, you’ll stay stuck. Faith is what moves us, even when fear is present. Fear doesn’t have to paralyze you—it can push you. It can be the very thing that activates your next level of faith.
This isn’t just a season to face your fears—it’s a season to use them. Let fear become fuel. Let it propel you into obedience, into boldness, into your purpose.
We’re stepping into a new era of fearlessness—not because fear disappears, but because faith is greater.
You don’t have to be perfect to be fearless. You just have to choose faith anyway. You can be faithfully fearless.
