It Starts Inside - Glow Up

When the Glow Up began, I feared that I wouldn’t have a glow up at all. I thought, Lord, how am I supposed to lead a group of women into a glow up when my bank account is low, my old car is hanging on by grace, and while my future is bright, my current season feels dim?

The truth is, at first, I was looking for the glow up on the outside. But God was focused on the inside.

I wanted to lose 20 pounds, but God wanted me to lose the weight of what a family member once said to me. I wanted a new car, but God wanted to give me a new drive for life. I wanted a new home, but God wanted to heal my anxiety in the home I already had.

I was chasing outward results, but God was doing inward healing.

I wanted the physical manifestation of a glow up, but God first wanted to give me inner healing and revelation. Because the inside glow up is the ultimate glow up.

The glow up starts within. It begins with our mindset, our healing, and a heart that pursues God.

So for now, let’s go inside and allow God to do His miraculous healing work—so we can truly glow from the inside out.

Prayer: Lord, help me experience the glow up You have for me. Set my spirit free. Remove any shackles from my heart and break every limiting belief that is still holding me back. Amen.
