Understanding The Season

Every year, 365 days, 12 months, is how we measure life. While we are going through our day-to-day lives, we notice that things begin to change. Just as the four seasons change.  Although the seasons stay the same, each year they come and go as expected. But they still change. Each season brings something new, something we’ve never seen in the last season.  But each seasonal change is necessary; it helps to start something over or to birth something new. As some of you may know, each seasonal change is brought in by a sudden shift or a slow introduction of what’s to come. We, as God's children, also experience this. We experience seasons in our lives where God calls us, or wants something to change, where things have to shift to begin the next phase to bring in the next blessing. Like the four seasons of nature. We know It’s only normal for the seasons to change. And we must go through the same.  Each season we go through in our lives will birth something great out of us. And know, Daughter, that God will bring to your attention certain signs that tell you it’s time to make a change in your life, that things will begin to shift. Much like in Autumn, how the leaves begin to fall right before the winter hits. Or in the Spring when the flowers begin to bloom before the summer sun shines on them. Notice how there’s also a storm in each season, yet somehow something beautiful happens afterwards. The signs may be different for everyone, but for me I always feel a deep pull in my spirit, and I go to God and ask him to reveal his truth. The best part of this is knowing that God is going through this season with you, too! Know this, Daughter, you are the beautiful change. As you notice signs of a shift in your life, a storm may begin to form. You may fall and it may be hard for a little while, but, Daughter, just know, no matter how big the storm or how scary, no matter if it came unexpectedly or right on time, at the end of the season you will blossom just to be birthed into something new.

Weekly Scripture

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
