Change Your Life in 21-Days

You may be wondering…can you really change your life in 21 days? The answer is, yes! Yes you can, but don’t just take my word for it, take it from the scriptures.

We see in the book of Daniel, he went three weeks of fasting. This fast consisted of no meats, no processed food, and no desserts.

However, the power of fasting doesn’t lie in the food. The power is in the commitment to God during that time. Daniel didn't only focus on the food, he focused on God and the direction of God. He cried out to God in the previous chapters asking for mercy and forgiveness for himself and the people. Daniel was a man of prayer.

Now, with all that insight, I want to share with you how to change your life in just 21 days!

First, commit to a fast.

Try the Lift Her Up fast here, and don’t overthink it. 21 days can seem like a lot, but even if you can’t get the foodright, don’t worry. There are other parts you can get right.

Like committing yourself to morning or afternoon prayer for the next 21 days, or committing yourself to reading the Word for the next 21 days.

The way we first change our lives is to get new knowledge. We know the Word of God is the divinely inspired Word from God, and that Word has power. A powerful Word that continues to change lives. You can’t change your life without the Word, so commit yourself to reading the Word daily for the 21-days.

Next, move your body.

I don’t know about you, but my couch calls my name all the time.

It’s my chill, relax, naptime spot, but don’t forget that it’s good to move your body. This body of yours needs to be stretched, needs to get the heart rate up, and needs to be pushed beyond where you've been so far. I’m not telling you to do an hour at the gym. No, I'm telling you to go for a walk, learn a new TikTok© dance, do some Zumba©, or some cycling, but just have fun and move your body. Even if you don’t see a change, your heart is getting strong, your body is changing from the inside out.

Next, go to church.

And not just online church, but really go to service, raise your hands, and join other believers in the faith. I encourage you to pick a church that is open to the love of Christ and not the religion of Christ.

Next, get into an atmosphere of faith.

I realized my ministry and life changed so much once I got around a group of people who had faith. A faith that said, “God will cover my school bills”, “God will provide for the new vehicle”. An atmosphere of faith will stir up your faith and have you believing for more.

Lastly, create better habits.

When you wake up in the morning and go straight to the bathroom, that is a habit that you don’t have to think much about, and that’s how you should form new habits in your life. Think about what follows next in your morning routine or night routine. Forming new daily habits will help you change your life in 21 days.

So for the next 21 days, I pray you take at least one element from this list and implement it.

Watch how your life changes before your eyes.
