Many times we get encouraging messages and words that build us up, but often we don’t know how to move forward.
So, first I want to give you an encouraging word! Greatness is inside of you! This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is. It’s living in you and breathing in you and operating through you, but many times we haven't awakened to it. We have found ourselves looking at the day-to-day lives of others and wondering if our own life has purpose. Many of us get stuck and never shift or move out of the familiar places.
Awakening to your greatness starts with the awareness of the Holy Spirit that lives in you. This is your guide, comforter, healer, restorer, helper, and revealer. This Spirit living in you holds all the answers and details you need to become the best version of you.
Once we acknowledge the Holy Spirit, we next want to give it authority in our lives. This isn’t accomplished through rituals or anything like that, but just by becoming sensitive to the guide inside of you. By listening to the inklings that say “don’t go there”, “put in your 2 weeks notice”, “I know you're scared, but move to that new city”, “take your dream seriously”, or “call that friend”. The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom to guide us in our lives. With knowledge he allows us to make wise decisions.
Now, awakening your greatness starts by listening, shifting, and positioning.
1st. Listen to the Holy Spirit, If you are unsure about anything, ask for clarity.
2nd. After you listen, allow the Shift of the Word to take place in your life. This usually comes with a decision to be made.
3rd. Position. Now that you’ve heard the word and obeyed the word, you must change your heart position. Change it to a heart that is dependent on the Holy Spirit. A heart that realizes you can’t do anything without your Father.
The goal is we go from leaning on ourselves to leaning on God. We go from being our own provider and allow God to provide. We go from gaining peace from our addictions to allowing God to bring us peace.
This new position will keep you in a path of truth, wisdom, and stepping into your greatness!
Now, follow the Holy Spirit, and Awaken To Your Greatness!
